How To Make Mask-ing Time

Masks are a great step to add to your skincare routine to help treat and prevent constantly changing conditions without changing your day to day routine.
The problem is a lot of people hear masking instructions as adding an extra 10 minutes to your already slammed skincare regimen. We get it, so here are some time busting ideas to get you on to mask life!

Sleep In Your Mask - simply apply your nourishing or hydrating mask (like Eminence's Calm Skin Masque, Bamboo Age Corrective Masque, Strawberry Rhubarb Masque or the Pomelo Hydrating Masque in the duo) over your nighttime regimen or mix into your moisturiser and sleep on it once absorbed! In the morning you just rinse your face and start the day

Work Out In Your Mask - some masques, when applied carefully (ie. Just remove the strawberry chunks) will sit clear and continue to be reactivated by your sweat! If you work out at home even better. Just avoid doing this with stimulating masks, as it will burn if it gets in your eye.

Mix With Your Exfoliant - you can always add a dash of Pear and Poppyseed Microderm Polisher, Dermafoliant or exfoliating mask with any of your masks (including stimulants) to combine steps!

Bedside Table Masking- Simply apply your mask before leaving bed first thing in the morning, this is an especially popular choice with the Red Currant Rapid Infusion Mask! Apply your mask first thing, then while you (carefully) get changed, brush your teeth and do any other tedious, "I hate being awake before noon" chores your mask will have time to absorb

Shower Masking - Apply before hopping in the shower, or while in the shower, and rinse after shaving or washing and conditioning your hair. The steam will help keep the mask fluid while the warmth opens up your pores!

While Doing Your Hair - masks are great after shaving to calm down any potential irritation and prevent break outs. After rinsing off your shaving product, or keep it on if using an oil, apply your mask and do your hair while it absorbs! Eminence's Rosehip & Maize Exfoliating Masque is great for this because of the healing zinc and congestion busting Salicylic Acid! It'll help take down redness while gentle-y keeping the skin renewed.
